We so often watch our work on the small screen: TV’s, Laptops and phones. So when it came to the VIP screening of Chasing Tokyo we knew it needed to be Large, Outdoors and in Weymouth. There was no better place than the @nothe_fort, an old fort looking over where the sailing took place during the 2012 Olympics. OK, can we take a minute to acknowledge the task of Master interviews on a feature length documentary 🥵. Shot in 4K over 6 days, 3 Camera with 9 interviews lasting 2 hours. It’s a scale we have never done before, but what an experience. Not only was the production a big undertaking, each second was then transcribed by the amazing Rev (See last picture) then annotated and put into the edit for 3 months of editing. That’s nearly 500 pages of Master interviews alone to read through.
